J&C Woodwork Inc. is a full service wood shop specializing in residential and commercial spaces. We offer a bespoke, bare-knuckled and straight forward approach to high end design and craftsmanship. Our primary business is to supply architects, interior designers and residential clients with all forms and styles of hand-made furniture, cabinetry or architectural woodwork. We pride ourselves on our close knit team of skilled and devoted craftsmen who hail from diverse backgrounds and experiences. JC Woodworking’s foundation is built upon our relationships with fellow designers, fabricators, and most importantly our clients. Our clients actively participate in the ongoing decisions affecting their projects and are encouraged to visit the shop during the construction phases.

Each project at its inception is developed around a specific design concept that carries through every element of a project. That concept is driven by our interpretation of the client’s expressed needs and desires. Our return clientele is indication of our fine craftsmanship, acute attention to detail, and work ethic applied to finish the task within schedule and budget.

JAIME CARANGUI | owner

JC Woodworking was founded by Jaime Carangui in 2008 in New York City. As Principal, Jaime brings over fifteen years experience as a fine woodworker, cabinet maker, and furniture designer. Jaime demonstrated his interest in woodworking at an early age as an apprentice in his family’s business. His deep-rooted interest in the design and beauty of nature have been a significant influence in a lot of his work. Jaime is also an avid drummer and percussionist in the NYC music scene.
